New versions must be created within an OMW project. From the OMW Projects tab on the Version Workbench main screen, select the project where you want to create the new version, then click Add. If you have a default project selected, you can first create a new project. This opens the Create Versions screen:

You can enter version specifications in the grid manually or import them from an Excel sheet. When you click OK and all validations pass, the new versions are added to the specified project and the batch versions are checked out. As noted at the bottom of the screen, new versions are created with blank processing options, and batch versions use the template-defined data selection and sequencing.
