Freezepoints are core entities in the Version Workbench application. A Freezepoint contains version setup data stored in a table. It can include Data Selection, Data Sequencing, or Processing Option data for one or more environments or pathcodes at a specific moment in time.
A Freezepoint can be generated across pathcodes and environments, independent of the current login environment. Its scope can be specified manually using the Generate form exit from an Explorer screen, bound to an OMW project’s version content using the Freezepoint row exit from the OMW Project tab, or bound to a Taskview’s version content using the Freezepoint row exit from the Taskviews tab.
